Nature restores her own balance. Nature has always worked in a circle – using all the material at the end of one life, as nutrients for new life. If a product is sustainable, it contributes to the ongoing circle of life – it doesn’t impede it.

All over the world designers, manufacturers and consumers are starting to look beyond the way products look and perform, to consider what happens to our world in the making and eventual disposal of them.

A piece of furniture may look great but if it is made using polluting methods with a massive contribution to non-recyclable waste it is not sustainable. That is – it is not good for people or the planet.
