The Design Mobel warranty guarantees this product against faulty workmanship and/or faulty materials.

This warranty is valid for a period of five years (5) from date of original purchase, to the original owner, providing that the following conditions have been met:

• The Use and Care Instructions have been followed (they are provided with the goods).
• No repairs, alterations or modifications to the product have been undertaken or attempted by an unauthorised person.
• Damage has not been caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, abuse, negligence or an accident.
• Damage caused by incorrect slat system selection or incompatibility with another manufacturer’s product.
• The Design Mobel Online Warranty Form is completed and returned to Design Mobel.

NOTE: Completion and return of the Design Mobel warranty form will assist with the processing of any warranty claim.

During the warranty period, Design Mobel will repair or replace (at Design Mobels discretion) without charge to the original owner, any manufacturing fault. Design Mobel reserves the right to substitute material of equal or better quality on the particular items being repaired or replaced if identical material is not available at the time of repair or replacement.

There will be no extensions to the original warranty period for any product that has been repaired or replaced.

Design Mobel mattresses are specifically designed for use with Design Mobel flexible slat frames, to work as a complete sleep system. If you put your Design Mobel mattress on another manufacturers flexible slat frame you may void your warranty if Design Mobel deems the frame to be the cause of the problem (this also applies where another manufacturer's mattress is used with our frame).

Design Mobel mattresses manufactured from the year 2005 onwards may be used with other solid slat frames and are covered under the warranty provided the gap between each slat is no greater than 70mm and the frame is deemed not to be the cause of the problem by Design Mobel. They are NOT warranted to be used with: waterbeds, innersprung or any other non-slat bases (with the exception of our solid core latex mattresses).

A mattress that is not to your personal comfort preference does not constitute a manufacturing fault. In this instance you should talk directly to the retailer that you purchased your product from.

We cannot stress enough the importance of sleeping on the correct slat system for your weight. The correct system will not only give your body the support it requires, but will also maximise the life of the slats and frame. Please follow the recommended Bodyfit Prescription recommendation to ensure you are sleeping on the correct system.

If you are on an incorrect system, please contact the retailer you purchased from. Damage caused due to sleeping on the incorrect slat system for your body weight is not considered a manufacturing fault.
* Please note these support systems are only available on bed frames with a side-mounted slat system.

Design Mobel employees, or any of its contractors, reserve the right not to handle items of repair, if in their opinion, they are in an unsanitary condition.

This warranty is in addition to any rights conferred on a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ only) or Trade Practices Act 1974 (Australia only) where applicable, and any other rights provided under applicable legislation.
