
Science of a good night's sleep
Over the past 20 years, we have studied international research findings to better understand the science of a good night's sleep and how to go about getting it. While a lot is still unknown about exactly what goes on during sleep, the fact remains: sleep quality is of vital importance for a fit and healthy lifestyle. Poor sleep is linked to mood disturbance, loss of fine motor skills and lower physical and mental performance.
At Okooko we are leading the way with our own research study; Project Circadian. The project team is tasked with conducting ongoing sleep research and the development of new sleep technologies. Much of the information they collect is taken from live sleep trials. Such trials monitor the patient's quality of sleep along with the performance of new technologies. Their most recent work has resulted in the development of our new bodyfit mattress and bodyfit prescription technologies.
